Very cool in a creepy, Gothic sort of way. B&W was definitely the right choice. I can imagine this on a cornice of an old cathedral or opera house too.

i should try to see this for my self... is that a beard or an effect of the shadow on the angel's face?... i like how the photo was taken, it not only shows the detail but also the texture and the play of shadow and light :)...
