Britain's First Mosque - a correction

The Brougham Terrace mosque in Liverpool is not Britain's first mosque as I stated although it was the first mosque in England. Britain's oldest mosque can be found at 2 Glynrhondda Street in Cardiff.

It was founded by Yemeni sailors in 1860. It is still a working mosque known as the Al-Manar Islamic & Cultural Centre.
