I can't really say end of an era can I?

He was a wonderful actor and, from what I've read, a really good person. The Prisoner was one of the most creative television programs that I ever watched and I thoroughly enjoyed his other roles on television and film as well. May a gracious God be good to him.

But he WAS a number -- Number 1 to all of us who loved him.

R.I.P. Paddy Fitz. Thank you for all your fine work and my, how we'll miss you. But ... be seeing you ... in the stars above...

Patrick McGoohan - an individual till the end. Never a number, never just a cog in the machinery.

Thank you and R.I.P.
