Jesus only two more days of work to go

It's only becoming a reality that come Friday afternoon I part company with my Department. I am part of a trickle going, in the coming years it will be a torrent. I have no faith in the government's "hopes" that the private sector will take up the slack, especially since hundreds of thousands of private sector jobs

Ah well, I intend to enjoy a few months of doing some of the things I've been putting off. I have a few photo ideas which I really do want to see if I can realise.

It takes time to adjust and recalibrate.

Best wishes and happy photo sessions.

Sell your photos!!! I love Etsy.com for stuff like that.

But mostly, have fun doing what you really want to do for the next few months. I hope all of this leads to something great for you.

It could be interesting Nursie

I don't plan to look for work this side of Christmas. I want time to unwind... and take photos!

For a little while anyway Snoopy!

Thank for your endorsement Knatolee. I will definitely look into Etsy

I do hope so Liz Thanks!

Of course buying out those closest to retirement is usually option one.

That's true Beak. Where I work the majority of those going under the scheme I'm leaving on are over 50. Only a couple of younger members of staff

If you do Etsy, you can put a link on your blog and your legions of fans can buy your photos! :)
