The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
It would be a nice contrast to have a series of photo-shoots of Nephew No. 2 mercilessly ripping the heads off tulips, pummelling flies with his hammer, wiping his nose with a rough and torn jacket sleeve and advancing towards the camera with a deeply menacing air. Dare you ask?

I am doing other nephew a disservice. He is quite photogenic and a gentle soul
Was this a 'true' sunlight, or did you create it? It has a very nice effect on your nephew's beautiful hair.
It's real sunlight Claude. I am envious of his long flowing locks. At his age I couldn't grow m hair that long.
