The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
That is one weird cat ;)Great shot!

Cool cat (and unusual). The Tate Modern wasn't yet open the last time I visited London. I'm sure it would be high on my list next time I visit, given my interests.
That's creepy! but nice shot!
Cool - it reminds me of the Ben Stiller movie where a dinosaur fossil comes to life by nightfall, along with the other figures on display inside a museum *lol*Have a great week ahead :)
Yikes! That angle really makes it look like it's coming to get you.
Imagine trying to fit this guy for glasses? No way....Great shot, Jams.
this is one cat i wouldn't like to cuddle!... but from this angle, it seems to have a heart-shaped nose tip:)... maybe it has a sweet side, after all :)...
I didn't think of it as a cat, thought it was a dinosaur, lol.
Great Shot! Happy WW.
interesting and scary. happy ww.
Different from others' and leaves wordless from fright.
Great shot. You always find such interesting things to photograph.
Looks like it could be a model of a monster from a movie like Alien. Creepy!
Great picture. Love how the light falls on the skeleton. Happy WW.
Really interesting how you captured the head in such startling detail! I think the use of B & W makes it even more stark and frightening. Really great capture!Happy WW!
My little guy deems it "scary" but it IS pretty cool ;).
He can haz cheeseburger - and anything else he wants!
Yikes indeed LB! I think it could have a Manwich with a real man in it Bobbie! Thanks everyone!
Great skeleton! Please, don't give it food. It might re-animate. I don't want it to jump over the water and move to Toronto. I'm not a brave person...
At first I thought I was looking at the skeleton of an insect, seriously macro'd!. A large, skinny cat you say...lol Happy WW! :)
