The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I love it, Jams.
It is sensational. You should offer it to commmercial poster producers and or greetings card makers, perhaps with a caption - "I may just be a pussycat but I can bite" or perhaps, as it's a yawn, just - "Yeah, yeah, whatever..." (10% to the caption writer of course :)
I will not forget yu when I make millions from the poster Andrew!
wow! That's quite a yawn
For a little cat she had a huge yawn
How cool, although for a minute I saw a hairless cat in that photo...
Ah Knat no sphinx cat was Mimi!
She makes me feel I'm such a bore....
Absolutely not Claude!
That's a very arresting image! It took me a moment to figure out what was going on. If I hadn't seen Mimi's name, I might have decided it was a trilobite.
My God yes I can see why you saw a trilobite in there Stan!
You know, I'm a little relieved about that.
That is just scary!
I t was not a figment of your imagination Stan!Poor little Mimi was as scary as a cute bunny Liz. I still miss her
