I took such a test once, called Political Compass. In fact, the entire blog alliance called The Liberal Coalition took it, and our (more or less) leader plotted everyone's position together on one chart. I never thought of myself as the left-est of the left, but in that particular group, I was. It surprised me; I look terrible in Red (in either American usage of the term... Communist or Republican).
Stella has never once threatened to remove the family jewels. Of course, I'm awfully devoted to her. "Steak at home," you know. Veggie steak, of course. :)

Polirical Compass is a good test in that it tries to bring in another dimension as does this one. I came out aout -7.5,-7.5 on PC - left libertarian. THe not wife did it as well - her results were almost identical to mine! something like -7.45, -7.55!
I was left Libertarian, but pretty close to Saddam. I wonder why. Also how can be one a left (statist) libertarian ( the opposite)... anyway I don't trust this test unless it comes to free online datings, of course. I.e. theoretically what would have Saddam be? left Libertarian I guess. Iraqis cannot complain that they don;'t know what state interference is...their state or another.
Well as you know well I FULLY belive that Saddam was guilty of no greater vice than wearing fluffy slippers of an evening...

To be honest all of these tests are pretty daft. I only did it as part of a thing on a labout blog group.
