The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I see neither fox nor gloves present in this photo. What a misnomer.
Lol, my mum calls them fairy thimbles and there are no fairies or thimbles in view either.. I wonder who names these things!
