The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I want - Department S
The last single from Department S before they broke up. It didn't chart in the UK but was a hit elsewhere in Europe. My mate Mike Herbage was the guitarist.
