WW - Echinops in decline
Echinops flowers in decline. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday edition of Wordless Wednesday.
I love these flowers. Sometimes when we plant them in gardens people are like "don't plant a Thistle" but then they see that this a refined and beautiful one.
My first thought was "how'd you light those dandelions to get that effect??". I've never heard of these, but the photo has a kind of mystical quality to it.
Nicely done sir! And thanks for stopping by my place, -Mojo
That's just like the weather here ! BTW I wrote about the sister beauty contest yesterday and heard this morning it had been cancelled and his blog closed !
But it still looks gorgeous when you click on it!! By the way, if I remember well, you like otters huh? I've got two of the cutest little otters in my Wordless for you today! See you!

Fireworks flowers they look like :)
Fantastic photo, as usual, Jams. The black backdrop really makes the details pop. Love it.

I was at our annual National day fireworks and these look just like the exploding fireworks!
Happy WW, Jams!
Great shot, Jams. Even past their prime they are beautiful.
I love the flower on the right against the blackground. It has just a hint of blue or purple in it. Very nice!

Beautiful! Looks like two eyes glowing in the dark.

Perverted middle aged capitalist photographers.... this is kinky flower sex, XXX rated.
How did you do that? It's impressive. I like how the black background reveals the image.

So Jams, with this post of flowers in decline, are you implying that summer is nearly over in your corner of the planet??
Great shot - love it!
Perfect with the black background.
They look like Boston fireworks!
That's perfection, Jams!
Stunning photo.

Stunning Jams! I feel a faint breeze in the air...soon the seeds will flutter by me...this photo is nearing poetic.
Even in "decline", they still have beautiful detail.

They still look lovely even though they already start to wilt.
