The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Actually, what is reallyworrying me is that if you hang to the right (being left handed)then you must be chaffing your dangly bits something chronic right now.......

It must really itch.
You need wheels on the back of that thing.
God it does Ren!
Haha, Dumpling. Jacj up the rear, flashy trim and a set of horns at the front and I am away!

Mercifully I dress to the left!
Glad to know that Jams. We women fans of yours will all pack our ointments and lotions away (you could have been on to a good thing)
Get well soon. May God bless you.
Thanks Femin Susan!
Why did they give you a Zimmer frame instead of crutches? Any signs of improvement yet? I hope so. Get well - that's an order!
When will you start autograph hunting, Jams?
AH fr that I would have to leave the house and there's no way I'm doing that (bar hospital visits) for at least a month!
You could give audiences, Jams. Let's say daily from 9:00 a.m. - til 19:00 p.m..
Ouch.. I can really feel your pain when I look at the photos of your leg Jams.
I hope you get better soon!
Nice to read the story about your name BTW :)
I'm thinking of you!
Anna
Yes for the love of all that's holy, get some real wheels on that beast! Looks like the one's about to fall clean off!
Luckily t's more discomfort than pain now Anna.. excpet when it's pain of course!
Good idea Sean. With late night opening on Friday too!
It does look a bit lame doesn't it Mojo!
Yep that zimmer needs pimping. Paint it metalic blue and give it some go faster white stripes.
And some furry dice too for a bit of retro faux-naff!
That looks very uncomfortable and not a lot of fun!
Jams it looks as though you have mastered a technique with the Zimmer. Keep up the good work.
:)
It is very uncomfortable but at least I can get around a bit
That looks painful! I hope you will get better soon!
Thanks LB!
