What a pity! If they clean it up a little, it'll be a great place for a stroll :)

Thanks. It's a wonderful place Napaboaniya. For me the wildness of the place is a thing to love, especially when the bulbs are in bloom in spring

Pretty spooky looking place! But a great shot. Almost looks as though something is disturbing the air right in the center but you can't see it.

the blurry effect in the middle of the picture looks like a time warp u can step into!

I lived in a place once where the garden was a little wild, a little overgrown, and I actually preferred it that way. Sometimes, we can get a bit too manicured about our gardens.

That's a really great photo, especially in black and white. It looks like it has been blurred a bit - I like the effect - but I'm wondering if it's just a trick of my eyes looking at wild growth in the abandoned garden.

The imagery and concept of these abandoned spaces always intrigues me, I often look for things like that around the city, like vacant or neglected lots.

It certainly does have that un-tended look, but sometimes that's a good thing.

I adore monochrome.

The b&w gives it a great mysterious feel.

What's that in the center? Were you shooting with a filter or through glass?

How's the leg doing by the way?

jams o donnell said...

Thanks... I used a filter to get the effect Robin.

The leg is on teh mend but there's another couple of weeks in the cast sadly

interesting shot.

Spooky looking! And that DOES look like a time warp in the middle. Weird.

A most unusual shot, I love whatever it is that's giving the look of an explosion in the middle of the pic. I guess it is a big fern of some sort.
Anyways great photo and Happy TT! :)

The blurry part in the middle somehow makes it look like a magical place.

It's sad that the garden is abandoned.
