photo hunt - purple

The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is purple so here goes

This is an opium poppy. Perhaps more mauve than purple but near enough

At least the fuchsia has some purple in it!

Both flowers are in my back garden

Jams, you have excelled even your high standards tonight. The top pic is, for me, your best ever!

I can't describe how brilliant it is.

The lower is like a still life.

Most beautiful shots! Fuchsias are my most favourite, I think, of all flowers. Nevertheless I forgot fuchsia and passed by the poppies. :)
