The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

That bottom picture reminds me of the aftermath of a long evening in my student days, but I think it takes many more pints of beer to get me in a skirt and make up than it does Tim.
