The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Oh, a tree? At first sight I thought it was a rather snazzy smoking jacket. That's the beauty of some great photos, they can play tricks with the mind, and this is (yet another) great photo from Shaun.
