The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I saw Bruise supporting Hawkwind a few years ago. I absolutely loved this song

Saw Bruise play at the International Pop Overthrow festival at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town in May. Not one of the highlights of the weekend for me, though this track is OK. There was plenty of other good music though.

Thins song leapt at me for some reason. They may not be the greatest band but they are quite good in my view
