Tories choose Boris

Unsurprisingly, Boris Johnson has been chosen as the Tory candidate in next year's mayoral election. He gained three-quarters of the votes cast as he saw off the challenge of relative unknowns Victoria Borwick, Andrew Boff and Warwick Lightfoot.

Shame in a lot of ways, I'm sure ken would have loved the chance to Boff Boff, so to speak!

He'll have to yank Boris' Johnson instead!

I've got to admit, even though I line up pretty far to the Left, I'm charmed by Johnson. Probably for the best that I'm in Oxford and don't get to vote for mayor of London.

Boris can be very amiable and entertaining but there is an unsavoury strand to him - not just his stupid comments about Liverpudlians or people in Portsmouth either!

I'll be voting Labour, not that I like Ken much
