Oh dear....

I won't laugh too much, there are plenty of britons who would put up as dismal a performance!

Yet another too tired to write post....

I'm not sure who is more ignorant: the stereotypical dumb blond or the quaintly sexist quiz master (who can't pronounce "Hungary").

Both are utterly cringeworthy, Roger. Good to see you again

“Is France a country? I don’t know what I’m saying.”

For the love of God, where the hell is this woman from? I hope the entire school board form her county is fired for her performance.

It's made me cringe when I saw it Roland. To be honest some Britons would be just as bad

Maybe she was thinking of "The United States of Europe".

Roger B, maybe she wasn't thinking at all. Had I known that non-thinking is so well paid....

That depends on whether she grasped the concept United States, Roger!

I think you have it right there Red

I liked the way she couldn't believe the boy had tricked her. Like that would be hard! And yes, the presenter saying 'hungry' was hugely annoying too.

I couldn't help myself: I immediately thought of that awful extended multiple pun in the PDQ Bach biography. After a painfully long setup, the punch line is "Buda pest rink war tĂȘte." (Say it aloud.) Only Peter Schickele could inflict that one...

THe reaction is wonderful! I must admit the presenter is a real pain in the arse too.

Steve, thanks for going to the punchline! Just for that I will have to put up a silly joke or two!
