Photo hunt and Friday cat blogging

This is my usual entry for the Friday Ark and Carnival of the Cats. Also this week's entry for
PhotoHunt. The subject for this week is long. So here goes....

I've done long for you enough times before so clear off!

Yes I've got long hair but get lost, I've got some urgent washing to do

I may be a titch but I can do long

Told you so!

Are you sure that the cat in the last picture is alive? Looks worryingly like poor Marmaduke, our cat who went missing. Judy found him six months later in her flotation tank, which we've never got around to using. He looked just like that. Very calm but also very stiff.

Ah, yes, Ted being Ted, and Robyn entirely too busy, so it falls to Mimi to take up the slack for the lads.

She's entirely too accommodating.

Definitely in the next Pets Roundup.

Richard, I can assure you she is perfectly fine - she's just eaten a huge plate of cat food and gone out for a dump!

THat is very true Bryan. While the boy will give me the cat equivalent of the finger, Mimi will play ball. She knows she will get a lump of cheese if she does.

Absolutely James!

You have such photogenic cats! Anytime I get mine in front of a camera, they run in fear. What is your secret?

Sean Jeating said...

Now you got me, Sir. Especially photo three reminds me of a yet untold episode.
And now for something completely different:
Did you happen to read "Lily & Hodge & Dr Johnson"?
It's published by Silent Books (1991), containing engravings by Yvonne Skargon which are accompanied by quotations of Dr. Johnson.
ISBN 1-85183-088-X

Quite sure you would not dislike it. :)

Luckily Robyn, Ted and Mimi are unfazed by the camera. Bebe normally legs it though.

I hadn't seen that book Sean. I like that Hodge is immortalised by a statue near Dr Johnson's house. I will have to get a copy.. THanks for the tip

A great blog Sebastian Dangerfield has. His Technorati ranking will skyrocket if he-she goes on like this. Maybe you should moderate the blog.
Online scum can exist as long as you let them be, as we well know.

I sympathise. Our cat could have done long, but would he co-operate? Great shots! Have a good weekend (hope there is less rain where you are)

I have to admit to favoritism and bias and prejudice: I am totally in love with b&w cats and wish I had a houseful. So your first photo stole my heart. I have grays and I have tigers and long hairs, as you. They are wonderful members of the family but those black and whites.

Maybe I'll go get me a couple today . . .
