The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

So...I'm even more in awe of you now because this past weekend my niece and I spent the day catching butterflies. And moths. And flies. And anything with wings.
And, it's not easy, even with a big honkin' net! You must be some kind of insect charmer to be able to get so close...or, you have a very good zoom lens.
Either way, I love your pics. But I tell you that each week...
Lovely shots - I've always wondered what those moths were called. Liberty, of course, couldn't care less what they're called - she just likes eating them!
