The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I don´t know what it is. Looks beauty and danger. What is it? Nice shoot. Happy Hunting and have a great weekend.
That’s real creative but I can't figure out what it is. It looks like the macro shot of a plant. Happy Weekend! http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2007/07/photo-hunters-creative.html
A head of grass - from the top? Very beautiful whatever it is.
pointy and sharp.Looks like a light fixture but at the same time it does not...I am going to have keep coming back to check out the other guesses.Good One on the theme. ;)I'll be back.
Not sure what it is, but I love the colors in it. I would frame a photo like that and hang it on the wall. So, what is it? Great photo and thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend.

I'm pretty sure it is not a plant. I don't know what it is but it looks beautiful.Mine's up too.
Looks like some type of flower starting to bloom. Can't wait to find out what it is!

some lighting equipment thingy that glows in the night?
I think it's a closed rosebud with a lot of 'creative' photographic work!
It's either a plant or one of those funky lights! Very creative. :)
looks like the bud of a flower head....great photo
Well, Jams, I am stumped. It definitely has to be the head of something botanical. What, I have no idea!
I'm thinking it could be a Brussels sprout with a LOT of photographic genius creativity! e-mail me, I *have * to know before I go out for the day!! LOL
Wow.what a shot! I am going to guess a seed pod.
Jams! You had us all thinking creatively with your photo! Is it a "flower" made with something shiny like colored aluminum foil? Or perhaps a crystal magnified. Can't wait for the answer, :DHave a great weekend! PS: Can you email us secretly?
Wow ! is that beautiful ! I wonder if it's not the thing inside a flower.
Beautiful. My guess would be some sort of string of Christmas lights.Mine's up.
I hesitate to say that I "know" it's a plant because then it won't be! So I am buffaloed!
Hi, first-time visitor but after seeing this picture (and the rest of your blog!) certainly not the last.No idea what this is, but I bet it's not botanical. Like it lots.
I have no idea what it is, but it's a creative shot!!
LOThanks all. The answer will be above... LOL Misskionheart Your curiosity will be sated
Is it a dandelion shoot once all the little 'helecopter' seedlings have been blown away?
My first thought was a thistle (I know it's the wrong colour but that could be the creative bit?). My second thought was that it looks like a section though something. In other words I haven't a clue.
Don't know what it is, but it's very pretty. Now I'm going to look at your latest post and find out!
Made a late visit, so saw your answer before I saw your actual "Creative" photo-hunt entry. Answer and all, it's all very creative! Nice work! :)
Nope, I don't believe you! It's definitely a Brussels sprout which has been tampered with! LOL
Hope you all liked it!
Sprout indeed, Misslionheart!
