The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
That is ultra weird and fascinating! Almost like crazy paw prints!
Woah~ That's some unique sights of snowdrops. For a second I thought they were rice :P
wow how did u capture these snowdrops?
Did you take it?
I am wondering the same thing as stan and James above? How did you do it?
Those are wild looking snowdrops.
Thanks everyone. I did take it. Unless otherwise stated All WW and PH photos are my ownThe shot was a conventional, if contrasty, monochrome photo. I simply upped the contrast and brightness, adjusted the light balances and painted out a few residual bits of foliage
So that's how snow drops looks like. They are almost the same as cotton balls :)Great work!
I love that flower!
Really? It looks like a painting. It is lovely. Happy WW from Mostly Wordless Wednesday HQ!http://ordinaryandawesome.blogspot.com/search/label/WW

You and I posted at the same time and you've already got oodles of comments!I find this black and white shot to be really fascinating! The white drops remind me of Pussy Willows!~~~Blessings~~~
Great effect, I love the way it turned out!Hope the leg unstiffens a bit soon and recovery goes smoothly.
this is wonderful!!! a quite unconventional shot of snow (well, at least for me) but still maintained that downy look we always associate with winter flakes!
Err I meant thanks of course!
Looks like abstract art to me :-)
