Love that second shot. The pink against the black works nicely.

Love the night shot (at least I assume it's a night shot). The contrast is striking!

Thanks everyone. Maddy they may be a garden escape that has naturalised but they are marvellous flowers that are long lasting

I used to grow Valerian in my garden but it grew rampantly so I ended up pulling it all out.

I like the contrast of the red and pink valerian in the first photo.
:)

The night shot of the flowers makes it look really lovely with the dark contrast of background behind :)

Very nice shots. I believe that some 'sleeping potions' are made from valerian.

Beautiful, some how the single plant is even more striking than the row of them.

Someone seems to have put some drops of valerian into my tea - sank on sofa yesterday night and fell asleep for almost twelve hours.

How lovely. I especially like that second shot, the way the flower is set off by the black background.

Hello Jams!
My favorite is the second photo -- the color contrasts well with the dark background.

I take tablets of Valerian Root most nights. They stink like nobody's business but are effective

They are quite effective aren't they. Cats go wild for the roots too!
