The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Excellent choice! Reminds me of the Upper Linville Falls here in the Blue Ridge Mountains a little. Very striking in B&W too.
Very nice in B&W Jams :)
The sounds of those water gushing down should be sounding like music too!
Oh, so beautiful. And I can imagine the sound of it too....
Very refreshing!
Awesome pic Jams! Thanks for stopping by :)
It's a very powerful pic.
Bliss!

I love the sound of water falling.... (living in Scotland, that's probably a good thing!).
Nice moody shot.

Singapore needs water! We don't have mountains or large rivers. We have to buy water from neighbouring countries. :(
Great detail on the waterfall. This really works in black and white.

Truly wordless moment captured!
I'm wordless!
Love that! Especially in monochrome.
It's a nice black and white shot. Water is a great element in life.
missed you last week.
happy ww.
I love b/w
That water seems a little bit scary to me!
Thanks everyone!
Great shot. Somehow, for me, black and white always captures falling water so much better than color.
Oh I like that. I love black and white shots. Happy WW!
I like this photo very much
Nice water shot. I love to sit next to moving water and listen to it. It almost sounds as if it has something to say.
Thanks everyone!
Great shot. I love that you put it in b/w. The water looks like it is very swift --- the center part especially --- a danger there.
Great picture, Jams! Loved it, too good I linked you from my own WW post today!
Thanks for dropping by!
My post...
THanks very much for the link Gabriel
I can almost hear it rushing... Great shot ~ I like the monochrome.
