I would not be surprised, Although I can only read it in translation, Persian poetry from Rumi to Behbahani is sublime

And awe-inspiring that voices like this can be heard around the world where in the past they would be crying out and not be heard. Sad that they cry out and their own people choose not to hear them or, worse, try to silence them.
