The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
O wow, remind me to get windows like those when I have Proper Amounts of Money to spend on my house. I'm definitely having stained glass windows, not normal ones. And no pesky views everywhere! Why do people want to look OUT of windows? I like being INDOORS INDOORS, not gawping outside! Hence the stained glass. To look outside I'm having portholes, arrowslits and CCTV!
