The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I like what I think photographers call the sepia look. I usually don't like it, but you were subtle, not gimmicky.The cat's look upstages everything.
Mimi is possibly one of the few creatures capable of achieving the nearly impossible task of contemplating nothing, and she doesn't while being cute.
