The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Wow. The colors are smashing!
Someone always leaves something behind.
That's an impressive and imposing structure — and lovely surroundings. I've never been.
What an interesting structure.
Thanks. It is a wonderful place to visit. It dates from the 1st century CE/AD
I enlarged it for a better look - amazing
A unique place in its way, Jams, isn't it.So far didn't miss to at least drop by. A quiet and peaceful atmosphere, especially when there are no tourists around.I wonder that seldom one would see photos taken inside. The stairways are interesting, and from the top you may have a marvellous view southwards, the more when the weather is fine.
It's a great place to visit. This is my second trip to see it (the first was many moons ago)I have quite a few pics of the inside I intend to play with.
