Photo Hunt - Narrow

The subject for this week's entry for Photo Hunt is Narrow. While there's nothing narrow about a crocus I suppose, it is an example of what is currently in bloom in a narrow north-south facing garden!

That's a great take on the theme. The crocus is beautiful. I'll have to start checking for my crocuses to begin popping up. I think it's usually late February here when they arrive to remind me of spring. I hope you have a great weekend.

I think it's real interesting that you've thought of shooting the flower because it's pointing towards the narrow south facing garden! :)

We don't have crocus in Singapore. Does it come in different colours? They would look great for our Chinese New Year. Colour of Gold !!! It means prosperity! :)

Good grief, you already have 28 comments and thchick's post isn't up yet! hOW DID YOU DO THAT? Whoops.

THat is a very roundabout way of photographing narrow! But a beautiful photo and how lovely to see crocuses opening up for the sun.

Our crocuses have been pretty flattened by hail and wind. I don't think any have been allowed to get to this beauty's standard.

Gorgeous! I can hardly wait for spring!

Thanks for stopping by -- and have a great weekend. ;o)

The photo is beautiful though, and there is a narrow space between the top and the petals, which is likely where the bees have to fit through to get the nectar (if they are out gathering from crocuses).

Welshcakes Limoncello said...

And it is beautiful!

Beautiful shot! I love how the flower is isolated against the dark background - really makes the colors stand out!

That is a great way to interpret the narrow. We would be very narrowminded to reject it. Thanks for stopping by.
