Yet Another Crab Spider Photo!
Shame the fangs are a little blurred but I do like this shot of the spider
I would not wish to encounter a black widow or any of the spiders that are poisonous to humans either red. Luckily Madame Crab Spider is ony about 10mm long (and a bit wider with her legs extended)
Did you ever see the animated version of Roald Dahl's, "James And The Giant Peach"? I think the spider character was based on this same crab spider species.

Everytime I glance at this specimen, it squicks me out a little because he appears to be doing a "Look MA! No hands" trick. Or legs, as it were.
Hi not wife! Alternate hands to keep jams in line. You don't want to damage your obviously fabulous green thumb.
I think she looks like she wants to take off.. Watch out for the formation arachnids. the Black widows!
