Wow, she gave him love for free! That line always cracked me up in this song. I'm proposing that Robyn Hitchcock donate some of his crazy shirts to Iggy Pop. He desperately needs them.
Iggy Pop should be a soft drink! I must admit I still like the song. I like his stuff with the stooges but his solo effort can be very partchy. When he is good he is great though!

But Iggy wouldnt be Iggy if his body was covered (and there wasn't the chance of little Iggy making a brief cameo!)
Candy has never seemed so unappealing to me as when Iggy Pop sings about it! Maybe I should incorporate him into my diet plan.
I used to really love this song. I had it on a cassette tape mix back in the day. Yes, a cassette tape. Now that's old school!
