The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Happy Birthday to Mr. Octogenarian from a thirty something!
My paternal Grandma and maternal Grandpa are both turning 80 this year. I like taking them out to celebrate their birthdays because I get to take advantage of paying for a reduced price meal courtesy of the senior discount. Yessss. I guess aging isn't all bad.
