The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Her eyes follow you no matter from what angle you view the picture. You need either a caption... "Uncle Sam Wants You"... or perhaps "Little Sister is Watching You," with an IngSoc logo in the background.
Thar be gold in them there eyes! This pic would make a fantastic Halloween card, jams. I might sign on as Ted and Mimi's press agent/publicist/talent manager/litter box supervisor.
Thanks Bryan.. I am pleased with the results. Usually I only crop and resize at most. With Mimi, I sometimes reduce the brightness a little and add a little more contrast.
One thing about Mimi is that she seems to adore me but she us brain damaged.... what you see is the normal view she gives the world!
It doesn't look like it AOW. But there have been a few times where I thought I had posted comments and they just vanished into the ether. Perhaps it will turn up yet!
Jams, I thought I had posted a comment relating to our cat Cameo, who is 1/4 Siamese and 3/4 Russian Blue. Her white "cameo" on her chest is more prominent than Mimi's white spot, which is very diffuse.
Cameo is VERY stubborn, but also very intelligent. I once did a write-up on her behavior with the Christmas tree. See this if you're interested in a rather long story.
Maybe I never clicked "publish." I typically preview before publishing a comment.
She sounds like a little beauty AOW. and in some respects sounds like Mimi herself (the head in the food bowls) and Mimi is very, very stubborn. Sadly she is as thick as two short planks (then again she gets food and attention and doesn't work so I wonder who's thick!)

I can see the ranks of outer party members crossing forearms and shouting Mi Mi as I write!

If you can get her to use her litter box you will be worth a hefty commission!

Earl the cat may be a pain but he finds the litter box. Perhaps he wasn't always feral.
Still you've got to love them! Bebe was the feral cat. Mimi is the one with brain damage. Still she is a very happy and loving cat.
Last night, I tried to leave a comment here. Did it not post?
