The theme for this week's
Photo Hunt is Average. I had no idea what to post so here's a very average mountain in Ireland. It;s not that average I suppose. It's called the Paps. Some humorous stone age builders put cairns on the top of each peak so as to make the biggest pair of boobs in the British isles!

Now that's a take I've never expected. Great job.
Phew, help me Jams. Kerry?
if those are average mountains, i can't begin to imagine what the more spectacular ones look like =]
Yep, just over the Cork border in Kerrym near Rathmore
Too funny Good idea for the theme. I think my daughter photographed this when she was studying in Ireland. I love this shot with the green below the mountains.
Wow, what a view. Nothing average about those mountains to someone who has never been to Ireland. :)
And I love the beaded Boris that LB made; saw it on Flickr this morning and said, I know that cat!
Happy weekend.
LOL I thought the two biggest boobs in Ireland were politicians!!!
I believe I've seen these - if anyone needed proof that humor is timeless, this would be it! :-)
I liked the mountain in the south west of Ireland with a bicycle on a post at the top. We trudged up in the mist and rain and there it was. Nice shot and yes it does suggest what you say.
I'll try to ignore those cairns and just enjoy the *pure* visual beauty of those mountains... ;b
This is not average if it is located in Singapore. Our tiny country has only hills. :D
it may look average where we are but I must say your humor is NOT average and I really LOLed :D
I should NOT have enlarged the photo. Reminds me of Moore's huge sculptures. I hope it's not the average size of Irish women's boobs.
too funny for words. :)
Haha... it's rather hard to get a pair of bra for that size then. :P Nice one Jams. :)

Great take on "average". We have a lot of hills like that with natural cairns on top. The local indigenees call them "Titty Hills".
I'd need a telephoto to know for sure but I suspect those are a pair of large well constructed cairns.
Great photo and commentary!
It doesn't look average to me...but there are no mountains in my part of flat Ontario, :-)
Thanks everyone! Glad you like my entry for this week's theme
Pouty There are cairns on both peaks. I think that prehistoric people had a sense of humour!
That's what I thought so too a boobs. And I saw many mountains that sometimes it looks like a lady lying down, just amazes me. Thanks for sharing!
Average critter Koi
I wonder what size the burried woman has to whom belong these boobs, cerainly not an average length, lol !
i also say there is no average mountain in Ireland.
These would definitely be considered average if you compare them to the Tetons in Wyoming where I'm told the name of the mountains comes from a similar idea.
Great take on the theme!
Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Ireland's "average" seems to be beautiful. :) Thanks for sharing a tidbit of the countryside!
We have the Sleeping Giant here in Connecticut. Maybe those average boobs are from his mountainous girlfriend. :-)
I think you found a great solution, above average.
Me too found this week a challenge.
Lack of average photos.LOL.
Mine is here:

Cool, creative and fun take on this theme :D
And a beautiful landscape!
That seems far above average from my kitchen in Alabama.
Love it!
They should have made the cairns bigger for a really outstanding set of boobs, instead of just average. Really, those ancient jokers could be so half-hearted. :)
Lovely. The Irish sure are imaginative :)
Very amusing
Average or not average? Only the viewer can tell. . . I love your big mountainous breasts. Very beautiful photo.

One man's average is another man's ... enormous? Depends on your perspective. :)
Thanks everyone!
It may be average for you but it looks wonderful from this side of the 'pond'!
Have a great weekend.
Love the contrasting grey with the lime green. Really nice!
Cool take on the theme this week. Beautiful mountains and countryside.
I just could not get inspired on for this theme...
Thanks everyone! It was a tough one Girasoli
e
This was a very difficult theme. I love your take on it :-)
Maybe not quite the biggest boobs in the British Isles .....I think the Paps of Jura probably qualify for that accolade :-D
I'm not sure Ruth, I'll have to look it up
