It being the summer hols and the silly season and all that I thought I would give Robert Newton Calvert a little break and have a few guest avatars between now and the start of Septemberthe first guest 1 is Josef Svejk, Jaroslav Hasek's glorious creation. Sadly I am closer in build to Josef S than I am to Robert C!

That's a very good build, Jams. Corpulent people are, as a rule, happier and universally kind.

Tell that callow young fool Andrew to try to make compounds of the element Omnium. He probably won't succeed but it will help him pass the time, as S = ... (you know the rest... sorry, I'm a bit obsessed with Time's Arrow and all that. And if he does succeed, well... you'll soon know, all of you.
