Mitt Romney made an ass of himself yesterday, questioning London's preparations for the Olympic games. As we know some things have not gone to plan especially trusting G4S to handle the security arrangements. If that was not enough he called Ed Miliband "Mr Leader" and disclosed a meeting with the head of MI6.
Perhaps Romney who seems to have been born with a silver foot in his mouth perhaps should have kept quiet. Anyway it gave out far less than esteemed leader a chance for a good comeback:
"We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities in the world. Of course it's easier if you hold an Olympic Games in the middle of nowhere"
Meanwhile Carl Lewis, most definitely one of the greatest olympians, seems to have had the final word:
"Seriously, some Americans just shouldn't leave the country,"
