Just the idea to have somebody as Sarah Palin in the president line made me shiver, lol ! Good for the Americans that Obama winned. some of them only don't know it yet.

Well it is a historic day but victory is the starting point.

just to have people here breathing a collective sigh of relief- is balm to the soul. but now the real work begins. we have to roll up our sleeves and get to work attempting to clean the mess made while the inmates ran the asylum. it took some of us 8 long years to fight the neo con machine- and to fight against the fear and the ignorance that entrenched many americans- i hope that this is the beginning of real change. fingers crossed.

This is something to do with soccer, yes? It's nice to see someone from another country happy too. I am thrilled, myself, but I am in the US.

Happy Wordless Wednesday.

I didn't vote for him. I was always taught that you can judge a man by the company he keeps and President elect Obama has surrounded himself with anti-American zealots and corrupt figures.

I voted for a Democrat President for the first time ever when I cast the ballot for McCain. See, he's the true Democrat while Obama studied at the knee of Communists and Marxists. (As told in his own written memoirs and stories of his mentor "Frank" as in Frank Marshall Davis, pedophile and member of the Communist party. This is not a neo-con conspiracy theory)

The Republicans ran a guy who wanted to switch parties just a few years ago. They got what they deserved by getting smacked down this election. I almost voted Libertarian because of my dislike of both candidates.

Time will tell how Obama leads. I don't hold out much hope for a man who was the only Senator to vote NO on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, though. Even in the face of testimony of partial birth abortions resulting in live babies and how the babies were left to starve and die in trash cans and dirty linens, Obama still voted NO. He said, "it would be cumbersome to summon forth physicians to attend the baby and it would contradict the mother's original decision."
Sorry. Whether you are pro-choice or not, that is just plain evil. Not even pro-choice Senators voted NO on this bill. Only Obama did.

Oh, and for those interested, Bush never was a conservative. He outspent and out-liberalled even the most die hard Democrat with some of his policies.

True, Bush supported life causes like banning stem cell research and pro-life initiatives but the rest of the time he was hardly a conservative.

Another thing I hate is that we're (conservatives) expected to play nice and shout out adoration for Obama when we've had to tolerate 8 years of leftists screaming at us and calling us religious nutbags and other derogatory terms just because we exercised our freedom and voted Republican. Now that their guy is in, all is well and happy and those who didn't swallow the Obama Kool-Aid being served by the mainstream media should just STFU? Nice. I do love the taste of hypocrisy on a crisp autumn day.

Another thing? Palin is hardly the idiot the press portrayed her to be.

Conveniently the many Obama/Biden gaffes didn't get continuous airplay.

My favorites?
Obama saying that there's 57 states in the United States. He also told people at a rally that we could cut oil dependency in half if we'd only inflate our tires and do regular tune-ups. These were Obama worshippers in the audience and they laughed......until they realized he was completely serious.
I also hate the way he mocked and derided Joe The Plumber at a rally. Hmm, he didn't have the balls to stand up to Joe face-to-face but I guess it's okay to talk smack about a regular American citizen who dared question you on pertinent campaign issued to your frenzied rally zombies.

Biden.....well, he said a lot of crazy azz things on the campaign trail.
