The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
That's a very creative shot.
Pere Lachaise cemetery is an amazing place. If you say to someone "you ought to visit this cemetary when you are in Paris" - they think you are mad!
Love the shot. Happy WW!My entries:A Simple Life Yummy-as-can-be

Is it supposed to be blurry?? Neat bit of history. Happy WW:)
Link to your blog has been add in my friends blog list @ spacestation-shuttle.blogspot.com
Great photo - I was also wondering about the blurriness. Is that an effect of the photo or are the kisses on the tomb themselves blurry?
I think Oscar could relate to the soft blur ;) Happy WW
At first I didn't get it and I have to enlarge the picture. So slow of me. Happy Thanksgiving :)I played as well -> http://www.joannemv.com

Very artistic and cool shot!
Very intriguing. Love the backstory on the shot.
I thought you were writing about someone truly deserving of such accolades, your departed cat. That Oscar deserves a special tribute.
Love the effect on the shot, that's a lot of lippy!
Beautiful shot, I love the effect too.Mine are here and here.
Oscar is a lucky one to receive so many kisses :-)Creative shot !!
Interesting shot, Jams! It reminded me of the surface of a delicious cake. My own photos of Oscar's tomb are more conventional, alas.
I am glad his spirit is alive and well.
Great photo shared!
THat is so cool! When I was young, I named my gerbil after Oscar Wilde.
