Gorgeous picture and bloom. Ours are a little behind yours. It will probably be another week. Our herbaceous peony is blooming this week - paeonia mlokosewitschii. It is usually our first.
It's a beauty from China Knatolee. It grows upto 4m tallThe Caucasus paeony sounds wonderful. A lot shorter than the Ludlowii though!
