Here starts the Fifth year of the Poor Mouth's existence. When I started I didn't expect to make it to to four months let alone four years! But there you have it. After nearly 3100 posts, over 700,000 visits and thousands of comments, the drivel still keeps on coming
I am grateful to everyone who continues to visit, everyone who has linked to the Poor Mouth and to everyone who has left comments over the years. Without you the Poor Mouth is nothing.
If you are really unlucky I will be putting up my fifth blogoversary post this time next year

Congratulations on your Blogoversary.
I think we will all be very lucky if we see that fifth blogoversary post :-)
wonderful!
keep up the great work... :)
I'll drink to the 4th and the 5th! Cheers, and congratulations! I've said it before. I'll say it again. The Poor Mouth is NEVER boring. Thanks!
What always impresses is that you keep blogging, and with such even-ness of quality and provision (and I mean that you're consistently good and interesting and visually stimulating).
I started blogging in autumn 2004, and not even I could say I've kept anything like a level of consistency, let alone one as good as yours.
You're example to us all; I just wish I was better able to keep up with it!
Sooooooooooo L_O_N_G
Wow!!!
How did you do that
I blog one year and five months
and my ideas are almost gone :(
ConCATulations GREAT blogger :)))
Have a HAPPY EASTER weekend
Hugs to your cats Kareltje =^.^=
Aww thanks everyone, Claudiam Lisa I'm touched,. Here's to this time next year!
Happy Blogoversary!!!!
Thanks Kay!
Now - I think not only CherryPie will agree, 3,000 posts within four years are a fine excuse not to have visited Dover Castle, yet.
Congratulations, Jams - also in the name of Myles na gCopaleen and Sgt. Pluck. Praised be the day, Omnium stumbled bicycleless upon The Poor Mouth. Sláinte!
Why thanks kind Zur! I will try to maintain my low standards during year five!
@Sean - But just think what interesting snippets Jams would blog about that castle ;-)
@ CherryPie,
I see Jams and me cycling from London to Dover Castle, accompanied by Bebe, Boris, Robyn and evil Ted; the latter of course residing on Jam's left shoulder.
Now I am just wondering where the other cats will be settled :-/
I hope they have a safe basket to be settled in whilst the pair of you cycle to Dover!!!
i always look forward to my regular Irish online detour =] here's to the next 3,000 posts!
Kudos, jams. I look forward to another year of fascinating content, good writing, often inspired photos, and humor (humour) to lighten it all. Yours is a really great blog. I'll be back regularly!
Congrats and may there be many more posts from you to come! :)
*3100 posts, over 700,000 visits and thousands of comments* ???
WOW! that's some work!
Keep it up!
the way i read yr posts, there will be more anniversaries to come :) The funeral cry video is awesome
Mainly that it presided over a hole of a town.. It was when I loived there anyway Cherie
Sheqn, Cherie Boris and Robyn would enjoy the comforatable panniers at teh back while Bebe could have a basket up front.
Sean I wonder what Sgt Pluck would make of it.. with the vibrations I would not only be part bicycle but part cat too!
Ian, Steve, YTSL, 25BAR, Bengbeng, thank you very much for your kind words
Jams, I knew you would immediately detect the tiny tricky conundrum for the sergeant.
The outcome promises something: We might end as catsycles.
Hmm as catcycles we would conquer the earth!
Congrats! If you ever pull the plug on your blog, I'll have to fly over there and give you a smack. ;)
No plans to give up yet Knatolee but I may slow down over time
Congratulations, jams. Keep 'em coming!
Congratulations from the left coast of America. I'm glad we met at long last!
Susan, Welscakes, THanks. I'll do ,y best to keep up the low standards!
Keep plugging and congrats!
I'll do my best Snoopy!
