The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Passing strangers
People on a train passing the train I was on. Taken at 1/8000sec at f4 at ISO 1600, hence the grain!
I believe this should go immediately to the FBI. For all you know, it could be Bin Laden, hiding in England. What better place than a British train with dirty, distorting windows. The silhouette is very imprecise.

Ethereal and fascinating!
Is that man alive? Might you have captured a murder?
this reminds me of a black and white movie...
a great job well done Jams!
Blimey! Hercule Poirot.

There is most definitely a story behind that picture!
I love this one. I feel like I fell into a time warp.

I think black and white photography is actually my favourite.
