Hooray for Tamiflu

After a number of autoposts I'm sort of back in the land of the living. Luckily the not-wife acted as my "flu friend" and got my Tamiflu. It does seem to take the edge off things even if I still feel rough .

The biggest bummer for me is not having flu but not being able to visit my mum in hospital. She had a mastectomy yesterday having been diagnosed with breast cancer. My dad and my sister have assured me that she is comfortable and hopefully will be out at the weekend

I am also sorry you weren't able to visit your Mum in hospital but a least your Dad and Sister were able to visit her and I am sure she understands xx

That's got to be hard not to be with your mother right now. Best wishes for speedy recoveries to both of you!

My mum was brighter yesterday. I'll have more information later in the day. I won't go to see her until next week.

Great news that your Mum is out of the hospital! I am sure it is very difficult for you to not visit her, but you are doing the best thing under the circumstances.

Now I know that Blogger has gone truly mad...The comment from "Michael" is from me, Pouty. I have no explanation other than Blogger sucks.

Mum is out of horpital and in good form. Spoke to her an hour ago and she was bright and cheery. I will get to see her on Tuesday at long last. Not beijng able to see her has been the worst thing.

Hope you're feeling better! I have never gotten flu shots or medicine or go to the doctor. If I feel sick, I just tough it out, and take some natural remedies!
