That does look cool! We are not allowed to have them here in Toronto. Nice take on the theme, definitely different. :) Have a nice weekend!

I agree. Great shots for the theme.

That's interesting. We haven't been able to use incinerators for forty years in this part of the world. No safety regulations forbidding it in the land of rules?

Happy weekend to you Jams.

Great shots. I thought it was an artistic lantern of some kind until I saw you said it was an incinerator. Happy weekend.

I would never have thought to use an incinerator for this theme! I love the contrast between the light of the fire and the darks of the rest of teh shots

Dramatic shots! It's a long time since I have seen an incinerator in operation! Often outlawed here in Australia unless you get permission to burn from the council!

We don't keep incinerators in our homes in our part of the world. There's a possibility that murder cases will rise. :P

What a good idea ! never thought of that ! I wanted to put a picture of an ash cloud covered sky, but the sky is so blue as if we were at the Cote d'Azur ! Airport is closed, whole Europe in a mess, but the sky is uncovered, lol !

I thought at first it was a still. I've never seen a back yard incinerator before.

The incinerator is so cool looking especially the first picture with the raging fire going. We had one when I was growing up. I hadn't remembered it for a long time but I have memories of my dad standing out in the alley tending the fire. We would burn papers and some garden refuge. They banned them ages ago mostly for air quality issues. I think some areas (mostly rural) can still have bonfires to burn garden/yard waste.

I've really enjoyed the last two week's photos. They are showing a bit of your local area which I've found very interesting.

Very cool pictures, and a glorious take on the theme. We are not allowed to have back yard incinerators here since too many toxic things get burned in them. But I remember having one when I was a little girl.

I'm afraid my offering is what you would expect to find on the garden blog. . .flowers!

I miss an open fire. Not allowed where I have lived for many years.

fire is fascinating, don't you think?

I had a weak connection to "fire" in my photo this week
