The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

A rare outing for an old warrior
Robyn goes outdoors for the first time in ages. Sadly he's getting doddery and a bit senile. I don't think we will have him around for much longer but 18 s not too bad an age

That is a very find photo of Robyn
Aww, what a sweet photo of a fine old cat. It means even more when pets live so long. I hope you have more years with him.
He's holding up remarkably well for 18 if he's willing to go out for a stroll.
He is a handsome gentleman.
I hope so ToB!
He is still a fine fellow. Sadly a few minutes later I found him by facing the wall net to the cat flap not sure what to do next.
Yep. I am reading this blog long enough to remember him in better shape. Oh well...
He is getting very decrepit. Not long before it's the Rainbow Bridge for poor old Robyn
