Photo Hunt - Pink

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is pink. For once I don't need to do something like a blue work shirt by Thomas Pink. Here are two blooms from a little Sempervivum (house leek) that is growing in a small gap in the wall of our front garden.

Pretty pink for this week Jams. :) Hope your weekend is going well. :)

My son is still in Blackpool playing pool. They beat all the teams in the team events but England, and progressed up to the semi final, where they got beaten.

They always look so exotic and yet, I suppose, relatively common. Great shot. I can even see the cobwebby bits clearly.

Great macro shot. I have never heard them referred to as 'house leeks'. I know them more as hens and chicks. The wikipedia entry on houseleek is pretty interesting. Protect a house from lightning??!!

BTW, I also like your photo of the Phygelius. I love those plants. Great picture of 'Devil's Tears' cultivar.

Very beautiful pink flowers. They look rather tropical! Might that be because you have hot weather too.
Anyway enjoy your weekend!
