The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Beautiful...
Jams, you're the boss!
It looks like it is going to leap out of the screen at me!
Calum, Egg, Thanks!
Just as well it's just 1cm across, Cherie.to be honest I am not really that pleased with the photo. THere's something not quite right. DIdn't stop me posting it though!
Jams, your spider photos are truly miraculous! It is amazing what you've done here. I'm a fan of spiders, as you may have guessed!
Thanks PS! It is not my best though
I love spiders...on beautiful photos!
That's an amazing picture. That spider must be really tiny. I'm glad I didn't see any on the bluebells in Hayley Wood today.
Thaks Claudia but as I say it's not my bestThanks Ellee it's only 1cm from end of leg to end of outstrecthed leg but I think they're sweet - flying insects don't though!
Now the crab spider vs a huge roach would be great.
Now, that's suboptimal. ... ... ha ha ha ha ha ha
Poor Crabbie would be toast Beak!Or perhaps sub prime Sean!
I'm not fond of spiders up close but I appreciate your pictures of them.
Rest easy in the thought that she is a tiddler Susan!
Wow. It seems to be aware of your presence, whether it was intrigued or threatened or neutral about it. And its body looks like a tiny apple.
I think it was Stan,, whether it thought it could have me though is a different matter!
