The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Laibach
Or some barking mad avant gardists from Slovenia...
I'm a bit confused; are they promoting fascism or parodying it? (I lean to the latter opinion, but it can be hard to tell with fascists; they tend to believe, rather than see, the ridiculous side of things). I suppose not understanding the lyrics doesn't make this any easier (and being too lazy to search for a translation doesn't help). If I feel like stomping around the sitting room at any point, though, I suppose this is the music for it!
Laibach are not fascists. THey do parody fascist and communist imagery. Sadly some people do not get the paarody as I found out when I went to see Al Murray a few years ago.. some people believed him!
