The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
What's it like working down a diamond mine?
I'm glad to say I've never had that experience
In the 60s, I was the nurse of a small village, Renabie Gold Mine. I had to go down when a miner was hurt. You really don't see gold until it's extracted and finally formed into bricks. If it had been diamonds, I might have put one in my Emergency Kit.RE:the music.WOW!
God lord Claude, that must have been a hard posting. I would have been tempted too!Glad you like the music
