Wonder why the gurkhas are like that.
I doubt that Gurkhas are different.
The myth of the Gurkhas are that they are fierce fighters
the reality is that they fight fiercely!
Three of the nine living VC winners (including winners of teh Aussie and NZ versions) are gurkhas
I can imagine that they are as frightened as anyone in war but they harness their fear.
